Stanislavski workshop Practitioner: Rosemary Hill
"Many thanks for this excellent workshop. I learned so much about this amazing man!”
Theatre of the Absurd Practitioner: Rebecca Clark
At the end of it I felt as if I'd had a really good 'workout' on 'Theatre of the Absurd' both physically and mentally.
I gained a greater understanding of less is more and the use of pauses and how by acting without expression and with simple movement can leave the audience with a treasure trove of interpretations on what is being acted.

Stage combat and blood effects Practitioner: Tim Klotz Davenport
Conflict, not necessarily expressed in physical violence, is an essential component (perhaps the essential component) of theatre and I got much more from this workshop than just the mechanics of stage fighting.

After initially being apprehensive because I am not the sporty type, I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed practicing punching, slapping, scratching and biting the other actors so authentically. Tim was very approachable and friendly. It was so much more than just fighting as Tim gave us the benefit of his years of expertise when coaching actors in his techniques. It was a truly enlightening day and well worth the money!
